Say hello to Ambo, the cheeky koala with a knack for near-misses! His name? Well, let’s just say he earned it the hard way.

Back in 2024, Ambo had a run-in (literally) with an ambulance while crossing a busy Australian highway. Miraculously, he survived, though not without some battle scars, including multiple fractures and open wounds. After 10 weeks of expert care and rehab at the RSPCA Wildlife Hospital, he was back where he belonged, high up in the gum trees, ruling his eucalyptus kingdom.

But Ambo wasn’t done making headlines! A few months later, he found himself in trouble again, this time after a playful (but risky) bite from a pet dog. Seeking safety, he scaled a suburban rooftop like a true adventurer. Luckily, he got the treatment he needed before infection could set in.
